Reality star Kris Jenner is breaking her silence on the recent cheating scandal that rocked her family.
Kris’ daughter Khloé Kardashian called it quits with Tristan Thompson, who was caught in a cheating scandal with Kylie Jenner’s best friend Jordyn Woods.
On Friday, Kris chatted with Ryan Seacrest on his radio show, saying, “As challenging as some of these situations are, I think that because [my kids] have one another and they try to make really good decisions, that they’re gonna come out the other side with a lot of clarity and a lot of honesty and do what they feel like is the right thing. And I really trust all of my kids to make those good decisions.”
As for how she coped with the cheating scandal, Kris said, “First of all, I pray about it. I really do. I find that, you know, just the spiritual side of me has to kick in because otherwise, you know, I feel like I wouldn’t survive.”
A new trailer for the new season of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” documented Khloé’s gut-wrenching reaction to the scandal. Of the family’s decision to be open about their personal lives, Kris said, “People watch the show and we remind them of things that their family might be going through, or things that they’re experiencing, or don’t want to talk about. And suddenly here it is, you know, right there for them to watch and see how we might handle it, or go through it, because it’s real. I think that some of the stuff that we’ve been able to show… has been really beneficial.”
Jordyn recently shared her side of the story on Jada Pinkett Smith’s show “Red Table Table.” While she insisted they didn’t sleep together, Woods claimed that Thompson kissed her. She revealed, “It was a kiss on the lips, but no tongue-kiss, no making out… I don’t think he’s wrong, either, because I allowed myself to be in that position… When alcohol’s involved, people make dumb moves, people get caught up in the moment.”
“Keeping Up with the Kardashians” returns Sunday night on E!.
