There was a lot of anticipation going into tonight’s “Bachelor” finale as fans wondered if Colton Underwood and Cassie would end up together.
It turns out they did get their fairytale ending… minus an engagement!
Colton and Cassie are definitely together, but taking it at their own pace.
Going into the episode, fans knew that Cassie had broken Colton’s heart. He decided to break things off with Hannah G. and Tayshia, and had plans to win Cassie back.
When he went to her hotel room, he told her, “Watching you walk away the other night was the hardest thing that I ever had to watch. That’s why I sacrificed and gave up everything.”
Underwood insisted, “I’m not sitting here asking for marriage at the end of this, I’m sitting here asking for a second chance to take it day by day and figure it out.”
Cassie revealed she was concerned because the two other women were ready for marriage and she wasn’t. “They were ready for something that you wanted. They could give you that and I couldn’t.”
After an emotional meet up with Colton’s family in Spain, the two go off on a romantic date.
The couple goes repelling and has a heart-to-heart over dinner… then Colton pulls the fantasy suite card.
They rush off to their room, leaving everyone to wonder if he’s still a virgin.
He won't say too much, except, “What happened last night was great for our relationship. A gentlemen never kisses and tells. But I do want you to know that I’m very happy and you can use your imagination.”

The show wraps with the pair in bed together. He says, “I love Cassie and I know it’s the end of this chapter but I’m so hopeful that it’s the beginning of a new one, and an amazing one. We are finally at a point where we are on the same page. I can’t wait to wake up next to her over and over again.”
Fast forward to the “After the Final Rose Ceremony” where the pair reveal that Colton has moved to L.A., but aren’t planning to move in together. They have, however, discussed a possible engagement.
Cassie gushes that they are “super in love,” while Colton adds, “We still have a lot of room to grow in our relationship. We’re enjoying dating right now.”
