Luke Perry’s Will Revealed, Plus: Who Was His Secret Fiancée?
Luke Perry passed away after a massive stroke Monday morning, leaving behind his two children and fiancée Wendy Madison Bauer.
According to RadarOnline.com, Perry drafted a will after suffering a cancer scare in 2015. A source told the site that “he didn't want to leave anything to chance.”
Luke reportedly left everything to his son and daughter, Jack, 21, and Sophie, 18, his kids with ex-wife Minnie Sharp.
Sophie has broken her silence after his death. She wrote on Instagram, "A lot has happened in this past week for me. Everything is happening so fast. I made it back from Malawi just in time to be here with my family, And in the past 24 hours I have received an overwhelming amount of love and support. I cannot individually respond to the hundreds of beautiful and heartfelt messages, but I see them, and appreciate you all for sending positivity to my family and I.”
Before news of her dad's massive stroke, Sophie had spent the last month in Malawi.
The other special woman in his life, fiancée Wendy Madison Bauer, works as a marriage and family therapist in Los Angeles. They were able to keep their relationship — even though they were engaged — under the radar until his death.
It is unknown how long Luke and Wendy had been together or how they met, but she was his date at the 2017 GLAAD Media Awards.
Aside from working with people suffering from anxiety and depression, Bauer also did some acting, including appearing on “The Mentalist,” “House,” and “Crash.”
