On Sunday, Rami Malek took home Best Actor for his role in “Bohemian Rhapsody” at the 2019 Oscars, but ended the night with a painful tumble.
After the show ended, Malek was photographed looking quite surprised as he fell off the stage into the audience.
After he was helped by the audience members around him, Malek was treated by paramedics, who moved him into a seat in the front row.
The extent of Malek’s injuries is currently unknown.
Despite his fall, Malek was able to pose with fellow winners Mahershala Ali, Regina King and Olivia Colman.
Earlier in the night, Malek thanked his girlfriend Lucy Boynton during his acceptance speech, saying, “Lucy Boynton, you’re the heart of this film. You are beyond immensely talented you have captured my heart. Thank you so much.”
Before his win, Rami chatted with “Extra’s” Mario Lopez about his early struggles in Hollywood, revealing that he “went years” without an acting gig. Watch!
