How Chris Pratt Is Shedding the Weight After His Engagement

When Renee congratulated Chris on the happy news, he responded, “Thank you, I appreciate it.”

While promoting his new movie “The Lego Movie 2 The Second Part” with co-star Elizabeth Banks, Chris also dished on his diet, “It’s going well, I am actually on day 17 of a fast right now… I’m invisible… I feel good.”

He continued, “It’s called the Daniel Fast. It’s something I do with my church, it’s a lot of vegetables and beans and I’ve learned that Daniel was a crop duster,” he added. “It’s rough, it’s pretty rough.”

Chris is still eating carbs, but has removed sugar from his diet. He said, “It took me three or fours days of truly feeling like I had the flu… I feel like I am a lot better without it right now.”

Pratt is getting hyped up for the Super Bowl. Of the New England Patriots battling the Los Angeles Rams, Chris said, “I think it’s a great year to have the torch passed, I think Tom Brady is the greatest of all time, up until now.”

Elizabeth, who is from New England, said, “Through next week, through next week than will see.” Chris noted, “Even when he loses next week, he will still be the greatest up till now.” Elizabeth was not buying it, shaking her head.

The two had fun making the new Lego movie, which takes place in space. Elizabeth shared, “There’s musical numbers.” Chris dished, “We’ve got more characters… the universe is expanding, which is beautiful about going to space, you can grow outward.”

Pratt’s son Jack is already a fan of the movie and one of his daddy’s character, Rex Dangervest. Chris said, “He goes, 'Dad, I can get the voice, but I just can’t nail the tone.”

Banks’ kids are having a viewing party, with her sharing, “They are bringing 30 friends… mostly they are excited for the free popcorn.”

“The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part” hits theaters Feb 8th.
