Giant headlines today point to a falling out between Prince William and Prince Harry!
A friend of the princes told Vanity Fair trouble started after Harry and Meghan Markle got engaged. “Harry felt William wasn’t rolling out the red carpet for Meghan and told him so.”
Apparently, their father, Prince Charles, had to help smooth things over. The insider explained, “They had a bit of a fall out which was only resolved when Charles stepped in and asked William to make an effort. That’s when the Cambridges invited the Sussexes to spend Christmas with them.”
Another source said “any issues are between the brothers,” adding, “Kate and Meghan are very different people and they don’t have a lot in common but they have made an effort to get along.”
News of the royal rift comes as Harry and Meghan, who are expecting their first child, prepare to move from Kensington Palace in London to Frogmore House in Windsor. They were originally rumored to be moving into Kensington’s Apartment 1, right next to William and Kate.
A royal source tells The Sun, “There has been a bit of tension between the brothers. Now Harry and Meghan don’t want to live next to William and Kate and want to strike out on their own. They need more room and hope Frogmore Cottage will be ready in time for when they have the baby.”
Of course, William and Kate also left London when they welcomed Prince George, opting for Anmer Hall in Norfolk instead.
