On Tuesday, singer Ariana Grande made her first public appearance since news broke about her split with Pete Davidson.

Ariana also announced that she is taking a break from social media while seemingly addressing the called-off engagement. It's very sad and we're all tryin very hard to keep going. love u. and thank u for bein here always."
Davidson has canceled his previously scheduled comedy gig at Temple University in Philadelphia on Wednesday. In a statement, the school said, “Unfortunately, Pete Davidson will no longer be able to do our homecoming show due to personal reasons.”
According to TMZ, Grande has returned her $100,000 engagement ring to Pete, but is planning to keep the teacup pig they adopted last month.
