On Wednesday morning, actress Geena Davis appeared in Los Angeles Superior Court regarding her split with ex Reza Jarrahy.
Davis and Jarrahy are not seeing eye-to-eye on their 17-year relationship. While Jarrahy claims they were married, Davis argues that he shouldn't be allowed to file for divorce because they never filed for a marriage license and the union was not legally binding.
Though she was ready to testify in court, it was decided that the hearing will be rescheduled for a later date when both sides can call witnesses.
In photos obtained by The Blast, Davis didn’t seem fazed by the split drama, even sharing a laugh with attorney Peter Lauzon after meeting with the judge.
During the court appearance, Jarrahy’s lawyers stated that he would be seeking financial support.
In May, Jarrahy filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. In the documents, he asked for spousal support and joint legal and physical custody of their three children, and asked the judge to deny spousal support for Davis.
