Denise Richards married "love of my life" Aaron Phypers in Malibu Saturday, People magazine reports.
It was an intimate gathering for those closest to the bride and groom, including family and tight friends, but it made room for Bravo's cameras — parts of the wedding will be shown on the next season of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," which Richards joins as a regular cast member.
In footage released by Bravo, Richards tells the camera, "Hi, I’m Denise Richards, and yep, the rumors are true: This is my husband Aaron, and we just got married.
She later told Bravo's The Daily Dish, “I am so happy to officially be married to the love of my life. I can’t wait for everyone to go on this incredible journey with me this season on 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.' It has been a wild ride so far!”
The couple began seeing each other in December, Phypers finalized his divorce from actress Nicollette Sheridan in August, and he popped the question to Richards. People announced they were engaged just two days before the surprise wedding.
Richard was previously married to Charlie Sheen from 2002-2006, and has two daughters with him — Sam, 14, and Lola, 13 — along with her daughter Eloise, 7, from another relationship.
