Legendary singer Aretha Franklin will be laid to rest at the end of this month.
On Friday, Franklin’s rep announced that a private funeral will be held August 31 at Greater Grace Temple in Detroit.
Her family has also set public viewings for Aug. 28-29 at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History.
According to her death certificate, Franklin will be entombed at Woodlawn Cemetery in Detroit.
Franklin died August 16 after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 76.
