Actress Asia Argento remembered her late boyfriend Anthony Bourdain with a photo taken just 12 days before he died.
The Instagram photo shows the pair in a convertible as Anthony shades Asia from the sun with an umbrella.
She included a heartbreaking quote in Italian from Dante Alighieri’s long narrative poem titled "Divine Comedy." Us Weekly translated the saying as, “There is no greater sorrow than to be mindful of the happy time in misery, and that thy Teacher knows. But, if to recognise the earliest root of love in us thou hast so great desire, I will do even as he who weeps and speaks.”
Argento included the date, May 27, 2018, which was less than two weeks before Bourdain, who was 61, committed suicide in a hotel room in France. He died June 8.
