On Wednesday, “Extra” special correspondent Alecia Davis caught up with country music superstar Blake Shelton in Nashville as he celebrated the opening of his new restaurant and music venue, Ole Red.
What can fans expect if they visit the new Nashville hot spot? Blake revealed, “This is going to be, especially for me, being on 'The Voice,' to be able to have a venue to try to help expose these new artists' music to the Nashville community. A lot of people who end up on my team are country artists, obviously. After the show is over, sometimes they are left with, 'What's next?' This will give them a home base, along with tons of other talent. It's going to be a fun hang.”
Will Blake be making an appearance on the venue's dance floor?
Blake laughed and said, “Of course! They call me “Shufflin' Shelton!” Is girlfriend Gwen Stefani a better dancer than he is? Blake commented, “Gwen is the better everything than me! Let's just face it — she wins! She beats me!”
