Rumors are flying about Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan, and they want people to know the truth about their split.
A rep for the estranged pair tells E! News, "The media is fabricating stories and none of these accusations are remotely true. Channing and Jenna released an honest and loving statement which is the only truth."
On April 2, the stars announced they had “lovingly chosen to separate,” while insisting there were “no secrets nor salacious events at the root of our decision.”
A source backed up the statements, telling E! that rumors of drinking or flirting are completely false. "These are not issues, this is fiction. We understand that everyone is super interested in speculating on their private life and that there are people who think they have an idea of the inner life of this relationship, but it's simply not the case.”
Instead, they will focus on co-parenting their 4-year-old daughter Everly. “They are lovingly deciding to continue their lives together as friends and parents of Everly because that's how their relationship has grown,” the insider said.
Tatum and Dewan met on the set of “Step Up” in 2006 and wed in 2009.
