Kim K Posts Flashback Caitlyn Pic — Why?!

Kim Kardashian's new Instagram post has left many fans scratching their heads and wondering what message she intended to send.

Unlike her usually straightforward posts about beauty or her kids, Kardashian's flashback pic of her mom Kris Jenner with her estranged stepfather Caitlyn Jenner — pre-transition — seemed ambiguous. In the pic, the now-divorced Jenners are looking happy as Kris frolics in a bubble bath. Was Kim being shady with the "TGIF"-captioned shot, or was it something more benign?

Posting an image of Caitlyn prior to her transition could be perceived as a slam, posted the day before Transgender Day of Visibility.

People Magazine reports fans were asking "WHAT DOES THIS MEAN!?" and asserting Kim's post embodied "Petty at its finest." Still, Kim herself has not clarified her intentions.

Caitlyn enjoyed a close relationship with the Kardashians until her divorce from Kris Jenner, and her emergence as a reality star in her own right. She did not tell her family about her SRS, telling Piers Morgan she "didn't trust" the Kardashians to keep it quiet until she was ready to go public.
