Jessie, who has been a judge on "The Voice UK," is now a contestant on Chinese singing competition called “Singer.”

Over the past few months, Jessie has shown off her vocal prowess by singing Whitney Houston’s “I Have Nothing” and Céline Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On.”

After her performance of “I Have Nothing,” Jessie tweeted of the late Houston, who died in 2012, “You are the reason I started to sing. When I first heard I Will Always Love You I was 4 years old, my life changed forever. You are everything. The best to ever do it. More than anything, I hope I did you proud🌹.”

Jessie’s performance of "My Heart Will Go On" didn’t come without health challenges. She opened up about her heart condition, writing on Instagram, “I watched this performance in tears because I see me. I see my fear. Probably because I know what I was thinking. 'Don’t faint , don’t faint' But more importantly I see my passion.”

Her decision to compete in the singing competition has surprised many, with one tweeting, “Wait, I'm confused... Is @JessieJ now a contestant on a singing show? I thought the whole world already know who she was?!?!”
