Grammy-winning singer Maren Morris wed singer-songwriter Ryan Hurd Saturday evening in Nashville, People magazine reports.
The bride wore a custom-made dress by Cavanagh Baker, which was inspired by her mom Kellie's short wedding dress from 1989. "She was a bad-ass and had this short wedding dress, so I sent it to this designer that I love,” Morris told People. “I was like, 'If we can do a modern version of my mom's wedding dress just dreaming something up really cool but still throw back with her vibe, I would love to make that happen.'"
The couple met during a writing session for a Tim McGraw song in 2013, announcing their engagement in July of last year, right after Hurd released the song "Diamonds of Twine," a song he wrote especially for his bride-to-be.

Morris had written earlier in the week that she was getting "sentimental AF" during the build-up to their big day.
