Jon Bon Jovi Talks About Working for His Entrepreneur Son

Rock legend Jon Bon Jovi has joined forces with his son Jesse Bongiovi to launch a brand-new wine, Hampton Water!

Only “Extra's” AJ Calloway spoke to Jon and Jesse at the launch party, held at the famed Versace Mansion in Miami.

The proud dad was beaming that Jesse, a recent Notre Dame graduate, is now an entrepreneur. He told AJ, “I work for him. This is Jesse's baby. He came to me about 18 months ago and said, 'I've got a name for a rosé and it's Hampton Water,' and I said, 'I like it. Develop it.' Doing it with your family and sitting next to your son is just a joy.”

What did Jesse do so this could all come to fruition? The 23-year-old shared, "I did quite a bit of research and met with people in the industry and brought him back a more finished product and said, 'Now, what do you think?'”

When asked if he felt any emotions having the launch inside the Versace Mansion, Jon said, “I had been here with Gianni. I had been here with Donatella. I knew her husband Paul. I had done a couple of modeling campaigns with them twenty-plus years ago, and I feel that in a strange way, Gianni is blessing this whole thing.”

What's up next for the rock superstar? Jon dished, “We start a tour in three weeks. I'm going back on the road again. This is a thirty-show victory lap that starts in Denver, and in the middle of it is the induction in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.”
