On Sunday, actor and director Kevin Smith was faced with a major health scare!
After the first show this evening, I had a massive heart attack. The Doctor who saved my life told me I had 100% blockage of my LAD artery (aka “the Widow-Maker”). If I hadn’t canceled show 2 to go to the hospital, I would’ve died tonight. But for now, I’m still above ground! pic.twitter.com/M5gSnW9E5h— KevinSmith (@ThatKevinSmith) February 26, 2018
Smith was hospitalized after suffering a heart attack on Sunday. Though he was scheduled to perform two comedy shows in Glendale that day, he made a life-saving decision to cancel the second show.
Along with a hospital selfie, Kevin revealed on Twitter, “After the first show this evening, I had a massive heart attack. But for now, I’m still above ground!”
After hearing about his ordeal, big names, including Chris Pratt and Jack Osbourne, sent get-well wishes on social media.
