Ed Sheeran Engaged to 'Perfect' Cherry Seaborn!

"Shape of You" hitmaker Ed Sheeran is off the market — the 26-year-old announced on Instagram that he is engaged to longtime GF Cherry Seaborn.
Posting a Polaroid-style pic showing Ed kissin' on Cherry, he wrote, "Got myself a fiancé just before new year. We are very happy and in love, and our cats are chuffed as well xx."

The very happy couple met when they attended high school together in the UK, and they've been officially dating for three years. Ed wrote his 2017 ballad "Perfect" about Cherry.
Per E! Online, Cherry is an accomplished athlete, having played hockey at Duke University in North Carolina. She was also part of England's U21 team at the 2012 European Championships, earning a bronze medal.
Rumors have been swirling for months that the couple was already engaged. As far back as May 2017, Russell Crowe casually referred to Cherry as Ed's "fiancée."
A year ago, Sheeran said of his relationship, "This has been the first time I've ever actually had the time to fall in love properly. I've always got into relationships very passionately — I'm a redhead and also Irish." In the same interview, he admitted he's overdue for fatherhood, telling Zane Lowe on Beats 1, "I wanted to be a dad, like, last year. I'm ready, I'm ready, let's go, let's — tour bus babies... little fat, chubby babies that just kind of walk around."
