Kim Kardashian’s Baby #3 Confessions, Plus: Why Her Crystal Gardenia Fragrance Reminds Her of Her Late Dad
“Extra's” Mark Wright sat down with reality star Kim Kardashian as she celebrated her newest fragrance at a private dinner hosted by friend Cassandra Grey, opening up about welcoming her third baby with Kanye.
The 37-year-old got candid about having another child, this time via surrogate, saying, “I'm really excited for and scared for a new baby. I have half the people freaking me out saying how hard three is.”
She went on to say, “I think you're not thinking about it as much, especially when you're in my situation because I'm not carrying the baby, so I think it's just gonna hit me and I'm think I'm gonna freak the f**k out and be like, 'Aaahhh, three kids,' you know?”
On Wednesday's episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," Kim revealed that she's having a baby girl. Watch!
Kim's mom Kris raised six kids gave her some interesting advice. Kim shared, “My mom said three is easy. She said two's hard, three's easy… Kourtney makes three look really easy. I'm hearing conflicting stories.”
When Mark added Khloé to the mix, Kim played coy about the pregnancy rumors, smiling and saying, “We have a family rule: Everyone speaks for themselves or they will come after me.”
Kim also revealed what really helped her get through the traumatic experience of being tied up and robbed at gunpoint in Paris, saying, “I kind of got into healing crystals more recently. The last year, when I took about a year off after my whole Paris incident, everyone would come over and bring me healing crystals and I didn't really get it at first. And then I really started to research it and Google it and a friend of mine took me down to this crystal warehouse in Culver City and it was just crystals everywhere and they explained what everything meant to me and it just clicked then for me.”
Using that as inspiration for her new fragrance Crystal Gardenia, Kim commented, “I wanted a bottle that... just looks and feels like a healing crystal, something that would be calming and have good energy for you.”The fragrance is also paying homage to her late father Robert Kardashian. She pointed out, “Yeah, my dad's favorite flower was gardenia so he would always have it... I just remember coming home from school and seeing this dish that he had right when you walked in and there was always gardenia flowers just floating in it and I loved when he had those.”
“All my fragrances , there's three that are launching, all have gardenia in it, so that's my favorite scent,” Kim emphasized.
The scents have even received the seal of approval from her husband Kanye, who “loved it” after she sprayed him.
As for how she balances her personal and work life, Kim explained, “You definitely have to prioritize, and we were saying — Scott, Khloé and I were talking about it today — just how lucky we are that our job is to really film together and be together… How lucky are we that we get to film with each other every single day?"
Her famous family members are set to film their hit reality show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” for three more years. She dished, “It's still fun. I do need a break. As long as I get through the holidays, then I can be rejuvenated… We feel so lucky this is our job. We don't take it for granted.
The family is also getting ready for the Thanksgiving holiday. She said, “Thanksgiving was always a Khloé thing… Khloé is going to be away in Cleveland this year, too, so it's going to be a Kylie thing.”
"I don't actually like Thanksgiving food. I know that sounds crazy 'cause everyone loves it… It's too heavy for me,” Kim admitted. “Thanksgiving, I love to chill and rest and that's what I plan on doing — no hair, no makeup, just sweats.”
