Carrie Underwood Undergoes Surgery After Painful Fall

Late last week, country singer Carrie Underwood broke her wrist after falling on the steps at her home.
Underwood was taken to the hospital after suffering “multiple injuries,” according to her reps.
On Tuesday morning, Underwood took to Twitter to reveal that she had surgery, even making a joke. She tweeted, “I just wanted let everyone know that I'm doing great. Had surgery on my wrist yesterday & all went well...even though I'll be setting off airport metal detectors from now on...”
She added, “I'm so thankful for the doctors, nurses, family & friends who've been taking such great care of me.”
Her injury happened just days after she hosted the CMAs in Nashville.
