Sharon Stone’s Reaction to Madonna’s Old Diss, Plus: Her Retirement Talks
“Extra's” Renee Bargh spoke with Sharon Stone as she was honored at the California Equality Awards.
While being honored with an award for activism, Stone explained why she would not let Madonna's old diss — in a recently resurfaced private letter that was briefly offered for sale at an auction — drive a wedge between them. She shared, “I enjoy her and respect her and admire her, both personally and professionally... That happened decades ago."
Sharon also broke some news, saying, “I'm retiring this year, first of all, from my activism. I'm gonna just work with my family after this year and I'm going back to work as an actor.”
Stone also praised Selena Gomez for sharing her story about her battle with lupus. She said, "We really wish Selena the very best and are grateful that you told the world about it. Thank you, because it makes a big difference.”
