Chelsea Clinton surprised a "RuPaul's Drag Race" alum in NYC Friday night, dropping in on her act unannounced!
Clinton, on a night out with friends, was in the audience for "Jinkx Monsoon Sings Everything!," an unscripted cabaret act starring "RuPaul's Drag Race" winner Jinkx Monsoon, in which the drag artist takes requests for showtunes from the crowd and sings them on the spot.
Clinton did not request any songs — Monsoon warbled selections from "Evita," "Sweeney Todd" and "Hedwig and the Angry Inch," among many others — but happily posed for a pic with Monsoon afterward.
The same day Chelsea surprised Jinkx, her mother Hillary Clinton delivered a eulogy for gay-rights activist Edie Windsor, who died Tuesday at 88. The New York Daily News reports Hillary said of Windsor, "Thank you, Edie. Thank you for being a beacon of hope, for proving that love is more powerful than hate."
