Halle Berry’s Candid Confession About That Oscars Kiss with Adrien Brody

That 2003 Oscars kiss between Adrien Brody and Halle Berry will live on as one of the most memorable moments in Academy Awards history.
When Halle appeared on “Watch What Happens Live” this week, a fan asked what she was thinking when Adrien grabbed her and kissed her after he won Best Actor for “The Pianist.”
Berry, who was presenting the award, said the kiss was not planned, and her reaction at the time was, “What the f—k is happening right now?!”
She said because she remembered being on that stage the year before winning her Best Actress Oscar for “Monster's Ball” and what an out-of-body experience it was, she just “f—king went with it.”
Vanity Fair asked Adrien about the kiss in 2015. He joked “time slowed down,” adding it must have because “by the time I got finished kissing her… they were already flashing the sign to get off the stage, your time is up.”
