Legendary figure skater Tara Lipinski and Fox sports producer Todd Kapostasy were married Saturday in what People magazine describes as an "ultra-romantic affair" at Middleton Place in Charleston, South Carolina.
The two became engaged in December 2015.
The Olympian wore a Reem Acra gown with a 20-foot skirt of tulle, designed by Laura Basci, and pumps by Charlotte Olympia. According to People, her bridesmaids were adorned with floral head wreaths, while the flower girls' baskets were made by none other than Tara's mom.
Lipinski's buddy Johnny Weir, also a figure-skating A-lister, served as her sole "bridesman." Lipinski posted a fun Instagram video showing her being twirled on the dance floor at her rehearsal dinner by Weir.
“I had a vision, because I love a very soft romantic palette so lots of creams, light colors, touches of green with flowers,” Lipinski told People of the Jackson Durham Events flowers that decorated her ceremony, "so we have orchids and roses on roses on roses.”
Guests began arriving two days early, participating in a pre-wedding celebration at Boone Hall in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, where Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds were wed five years ago.
