Harry Styles’ Stepfather Has Died

Robin Twist, Harry Styles' stepfather, 57, has died.

Styles' rep told DailyMail.com, "Harry's stepfather, Robin Twist, sadly passed away this week after a long battle with cancer. The family asks for privacy at this time."

Robin helped raise Styles during his teenage years and married his mom in 2013. At the wedding, Harry served as Robin's best man. At the time, the 23-year-old shared about the wedding speech, "I practiced on my own for days beforehand, on the sofa reciting it to myself. I tried to make it have a bit of everything. When everyone thought it was going to be really emotional, I pulled the rug out from under everyone's feet and injected a bit of humor. It seemed to go well.”

Weeks before his death, Robin and Harry's mom Anne Cox, celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary. She wrote on Instagram, “Thank you for all the anniversary wishes.”

Seven months ago, Harry's One Direction bandmate Louis Tomlinson mourned the death of his mom Johannah Deakin, who died of leukemia.
