Miles Mosley on His New Album ‘Uprising’ and What It Means to Sign with Verve Records
Having played with everyone from Rihanna to Kendrick Lamar... Miles Mosley is ready for solo stardom!
The jazz bass virtuoso and musical prodigy has been part of what is known as the West Coast Get Down, a collective of L.A.-based jazz artists like Kamasi Washington and Cameron Graves, and associated with breakout, genre-defying acts like Thundercat and Flying Lotus.
Miles sat down with Senior Music Correspondent Adam Weissler to break news about his recent signing to the esteemed Verve label, and his highly acclaimed new album, “Uprising."
