On Friday, Britney Spears' manager Larry Rudolph confirmed in the Las Vegas Review-Journal the pop star will end her wildly successful Piece of Me residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on December 31 of this year.
After a summer tour of Asia and Israel, Spears returns to Las Vegas for her final shows. Rudoph said The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Park Theater and The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel are all in talks to bring Brit back to the city in 2018, but nothing is close to being signed.
Underscoring the fact that Britney can write her own ticket, Rudolph joked she could have her next show "at the needle on the top of the Stratosphere, and do the bungee jump afterward."
Rudolph would not get into specifics on Britney's future plans, but did stress that her current run at Planet Hollywood's Axis resumes May 3-20, a slate of shows expected to sell out considering the news that Piece of Me is winding down, concluding with shows in August through the end of the year.
