Weeks after news broke on his twins, George Clooney is opening up about his impending fatherhood.
During an interview with the French show "Rencontres de cinéma,” George said, "We are really happy and really excited. It's going to be an adventure. We've sort of embraced it all… with arms wide open.”
George also revealed how his friends reacted when he told them he and wife Amal were expecting twins. He shared, “It got really quiet, and they all just started making baby crying noises. And the whole table just busted up laughing.”
As for how he feels about having children later in life, George pointed out that French actor Jean-Paul Belmondo had a baby with his second wife, Nathalie Tardivel, at the age of 70. He joked, "So, I'm feeling a little better about being 56 by the time [they come].”
A source recently told People magazine, "He is excited about the kids, but also has the normal amount of nerves that come with being parents.”
George and Amal's twins are scheduled to arrive in June.
