Tuesday was date night for Mariah Carey and rumored new beau Bryan Tanaka, her backup dancer, as she was on hand to turn on the holiday lights at the Empire State Building. “Extra” caught up with Mariah, who played coy about who she’ll be kissing on Christmas morning.
Carey, who is in NYC for a series of holiday shows at the Beacon Theater, commented, "We'll have to wait and see — we love mistletoe moments.”
As for what is on her holiday wish list, Carey revealed, "Peace, joy, and maybe some diamonds.”
Carey is heading to Aspen to celebrate the holidays with 5-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe. She commented, "I just love to be in the snow with the kids… You have no idea, we have real reindeer, I go on a two-horse open sleigh ride… It's my favorite time of year."
“The kids love it and they ask about it all year long,” she added.
Along with the snow, Moroccan and Monroe are also excited to see what Santa is giving them for Christmas. Mariah said, “It’s really hard to keep it so they’re grounded, and I don’t overdo it 'cause I don’t want to spoil them. They have their top three things.”
The 46-year-old singer is looking better than ever, crediting her svelte figure to a strict Norwegian salmon-and-capers-only diet. “I’m telling you, it's the worst diet I've ever experienced but I'm trying to stick with it.”
