“Extra's” AJ Calloway caught up with Kris Jenner at the Angel Ball in New York just before the news broke that her son-in-law Kanye West had been hospitalized in Los Angeles. “He's exhausted, he's just really tired. He's had a grueling tour and it's been a grind so he just needs some rest,” she said of Kanye's cancellation of the remaining Saint Pablo tour concert dates.
Kris also gave AJ an update on Kim, who was expected to attend the event, which honored her late father, Robert Kardashian. Kim did not appear in the wake of her husband's medical issues in Los Angeles, continuing to keep a very low profile since her traumatizing robbery in Paris. Kris divulged. “It's a process, day by day,” and said that the kids are "doing good."
As for attending the Angel Ball, Kris said she was ”thrilled" to be there for Denise Rich and "everything she's done for the Angel Ball and her daughter, she does everything in such a wonderful memory and tries to raise funds to really help with the cancer research.” She added, “It's making a really good example. I think the girls do a lot in this area that they don't talk about, so I think every once in a while it's important to be a voice and to be loud and to say, 'This is what we want to do,' and to give back, and we're just thrilled and honored that they're honoring Robert.”
Sisters Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian took to the stage with mom Kris.
