Actress Shelley Duvall Fighting Mental Illness, Unrecognizable from ‘The Shining’ Days

“The Shining” actress Shelley Duvall looks unrecognizable these days as she fights mental illness.
In a new clip from “Dr. Phil,” Duvall reveals, "I'm very sick. I need help.” Watch!
When Dr. Phil asked about her heart, she commented, "If I say I'm healthy, first thing they'll do is hurt me tonight." As for who would hurt her, Duvall answered, "Whoever is in security or at the bank.”
Duvall tells Dr. Phil that she has seen Robin Williams, who she argues is not dead. When asked where he is, Duvall says he is “shape-shifting.”
She went on about her "Popeye" co-star, "I loved Robin. He came up with the best jokes out of nowhere." Watch!
Duvall disappeared from the spotlight in the early 2000s. Her last movie was “Manna from Heaven” in 2002.
Despite facing some criticism for Duvall's episode, "Dr. Phil" has spent roughly $29 million on the aftercare of its guests.
