Teresa Giudice Defends Her Former ‘Celebrity Apprentice' Boss Donald Trump
On Tuesday night, “Extra” caught up with “RHONJ" star Teresa Giudice as she attended Star magazine's Scene Stealers Bash, where she defended her former “Celebrity Apprentice” boss and presidential candidate Donald Trump.
Giudice, a contestant on Season 5 of “The Celebrity Apprentice” in 2012, said, “Trump was nothing but a gentleman.” She also questioned the women who have accused Trump of sexually assaulting them, commenting, “If a man touched me, I would come out with it right away. I wouldn't wait till he was trying to be president and then come out with it.”
She added, “When people come out, they only want their 15 minutes of fame.” Though she defended Trump, she is not backing him completely for the presidency. As for who will end up in the Oval Office, she shared, “I think they're both great. May the best person win.”
Teresa also defended her own man, husband Joe, who is currently serving 41 months in prison for bankruptcy fraud. The Giudices have been victims of pesky divorce rumors while they are living apart. She admitted, “Our marriage was always strong, but going through something like this, it can either make you or break you and nothing's breaking us.”
The couple recently celebrated their 17th wedding anniversary, with Joe sending gifts from prison. She shared, “I got two sets of flowers. He wrote me a beautiful card and he also wrote me a song. He wants John Legend to sing it to me.”
The two are in communication daily, but are still missing one another, “I think about him every day and I just can't wait for him to come home.” She also revealed that their girls, Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana, are still having a hard time without daddy at home. “Thank God, they're really busy with activities… And that's what keeps us all going.”
As for the haters on social media, Teresa is doing what she can to ignore them. “I stay away from anything negative… I'll read through the Instagram. If there's anybody negative I will never answer anybody back. I'll just delete it and I block the person.”
