Shannen Doherty Shaves Head as She Fights Breast Cancer
On Tuesday night, former “Beverly Hills, 90210” actress Shannen Doherty shaved her head in the midst of her ongoing battle with breast cancer.

Doherty took her Instagram followers through the emotional process, which was documented in six photos. Her mom Rosa Doherty and close friend Anne Marie Kortright were by her side while she said good-bye to her hair. See the pics.

It appears that Doherty got through the brave decision with the help of chocolate and sweets.

Back in August, Doherty revealed she was diagnosed with cancer, telling People magazine, "Yes, I have breast cancer, and I am currently undergoing treatment. I am continuing to eat right, exercise and stay very positive about my life. I am thankful to my family, friends and doctors for their support and, of course, my fans who have stood by me.”
