Actress and comedian Amy Schumer strikes a pose on the cover of Marie Claire's August issue, where she dished on her relationship with Ben Hanisch.
Amy and Ben have been dating since late last year. Of the romance with the Chicago furniture maker, Schumer shared, "Being in love is the scariest thing in the world. You want to f**ing cry and scream. I can't handle it. Every time we say good-bye, I think, 'This will have been a nice last week together.' Or I tell myself nothing is real and he's going to leave me and tell me he never loved me. I feel so bad for him. How exhausting it must be dating me.”
Though Amy is in a loving relationship with Ben, it doesn't mean she's not fantasizing about other people. She recently had a sex dream about friend and “Girls” actress Jemima Kirke. She joked, "It was so awesome. I almost told her about it. Then I thought maybe Lena [Dunham] would get jealous. So I didn't.”
Amy has become a well-recognized name and face over the years, but what was she like growing up? The 35-year-old revealed, “I was always self-effacing, self-reflective. I hated feeling I was just like every other girl on Long Island. Looking at my clothes and my hair. I was very aware of not wanting to be the same as everyone.”
