On Friday, Prince George and his parents Prince William and Princess Kate had two very important guests over for dinner… President Obama and his wife Michelle.

Despite a rainy day, the Obamas were greeted by the royals at Kensington Palace. Prince Harry was also on hand for the special occasion.
Before dinner, the royal family and the Obamas were seen deep in conversation in what appears to be a living room. William reportedly arranged the dinner on the royals’ behalf. An insider said, “They were delighted that [the First Couple] were able to accept. The three of them have built up a relationship with the President and First Lady over the years."
Prince George, who looked beyond adorable in a white robe and pajamas, was also introduced to the President and First Lady. The source added, "George stayed up for a few minutes when the President and the First Lady arrived, but Charlotte was in bed."
During the meeting, George also thanked President Obama for a gift that he was given years ago. Kensington Palace posted a pic and wrote on Twitter, "Prince George thanks @BarackObama for his rocking horse, given to him when he was born."
Earlier this week, George and William took part in a family portrait to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday.
