Legendary singer Prince has died at 57. Multiple sources have confirmed his death to TMZ.
The Carver County Sheriff's department in Chanhassen, Minnesota, had responded to a call regarding a medical emergency at 9:43 a.m.
Less than one week after the singer, real name Prince Rogers Nelson, was hospitalized, reportedly for the flu, his body was discovered at his Paisley Park estate.
Prince's plane was forced to make an emergency landing last week so the sick singer could be rushed to the hospital for treatment. The music legend was reportedly recovering at home after his release.
