Teresa Giudice Dishes on ‘Real Housewives’ Cast, ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ and Joe’s Prison Sentence

Reality star Teresa Giudice is getting back to the swing of things at home with her family.

On Saturday, “Extra” caught up with Teresa, who spent the night with husband Joe in the Poconos to meet fans and sign copies of her book "Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again" at Mount Airy Lodge.

Three months after her prison release, Giudice is back home as a busy mom to her four daughters and back shooting the new season of “Real Housewives of New Jersey,” which is welcoming some newcomers. She said, “I have to say I'm excited about this season, I really am… New people coming on and new blood, it's a fresh new lift to what we needed and I think everyone's going to be happy once they see it.”

With her busy schedule, Giudice had to turn down a shot at the mirror ball trophy on “Dancing with the Stars,” even though its one of her favorite shows. She explained, “This season, I'm filming for 'Housewives' and with my husband… it just wouldn't work.”

Her husband Joe is getting ready to serve his 42-month prison sentence for tax evasion, while Teresa is prepping for her time as a single mom. She shared, “Unfortunately, I have no choice.”

The family is spending as much time together as possible. “We're just taking it day by day and just focusing on being with our daughters, and with each other… We're enjoying every minute that we have together.”
