Dan Haggerty, who starred in the title role of the TV series “The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams,” has died at the age of 74.
Haggerty passed away at his San Fernando Valley home after losing his battle to cancer. Sources told TMZ that doctors diagnosed him with cancer after he underwent surgery for back pain.
Haggerty's manager, Dan Bomar, confirmed the sad news, saying, "I talked to him yesterday and told him we're praying for him," Bomar said. "I told him 'I love you, man.' The last thing I heard him say was, 'I love you.'"
Aside from his most famous role, Haggerty also starred in the relatively recent films "Big Stan” (2007) and "Dead in 5 Heartbeats” (2013)
