Wingreen's most famous contribution to the silver screen was as the inimitable voice of bounty hunter Boba Fett in "Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back."

Wingreen's career was so prolific (over 200 roles) that he wound up making an appearance on an impressive array of classic TV shows, including early hour-long dramas, "The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis," "Surfside 6," "General Hospital," "The Outer Limits," "The Fugitive," "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." "Star Trek," and one of his last jobs, on "Seinfeld."
