“The Voice” host Carson Daly and longtime fiancée Siri Pinter pulled off the surprise wedding of a lifetime over the holidays.
After 10 years and three children, fans thought the pair might not ever tie the knot.
On Monday, Carson opened up about the nuptials, which took place on December 23, on the “Today” show, joking, “I wanted a hoverboard; I got a wife.”
It turns out the wedding was so secret they even surprised their families!
"Our families were visiting," he told Savannah Guthrie. "We surprised our moms."
The couple’s kids, Jackson, 6, Etta, 3, and London, 16 months, were also there, and Carson was pleased that they were old enough to appreciate the moment. "It was great that the kids were a little bit older," Daly said. “They actually knew what was going on."
Siri broke the news on Instagram over the weekend, writing, “Families come in all shapes and sizes... but all you need is love. This happened yesterday and it was the best day of my life. Merry Christmas Eve from my family to yours!
