How Kim Kardashian Quickly Lost 17 Pounds After Giving Birth to Saint
Reality star Kim Kardashian has already lost 17 pounds since the birth of her baby boy Saint earlier this month.
In a livestream on Monday, Kardashian invited Caitlyn Jenner over to her mom Kris' home, where she is currently living. During the session, the two enjoyed pizza and talked about weight. Watch a clip from Kim's livestream, which features her jokingly calling out Kris!
Kim revealed that she gained 60 pounds during her second pregnancy. She said about going from 130 to 190 pounds, "I almost died.”
Kardashian said that her ideal weight was 120 pounds, and that she is well on her way — she has already lost 17 pounds with the help of breastfeeding and eating right.
In addition to eating healthy, Kim is also eating her placenta. On Monday, the 35-year-old took to her website to share that she was adding placenta pills to her diet. Kardashian wrote, "I heard so many stories when I was pregnant with North of moms who never ate their placenta with their first baby and then had postpartum depression, but then when they took the pills with their second baby, they did not suffer from depression!"
She continued, "So I thought, why not try it? What do I have to lose? I really didn't want the baby blues and thought I can't go wrong with taking a pill made of my own hormones — made by me, for me. I started researching and read about so many moms who felt this same way and said the overall healing process was so much easier."
