Celebs Take the Spotlight for Their Kindness on World Kindness Day

Today is World Kindness Day, which is the perfect day to acknowledge some of the celebs who have made an effort to give back to the world.
To encourage more kindness, NBC is launching a Season of Kindness campaign. The campaign brings awareness to acts of kindness, large and small, with the hashtag #ShareKindness. Click here for more details.
Here are some of the celebs who have recently shown their kindness:
Mario Lopez and his wife Courtney — They partnered with Unilever and Feeding America to help Share A Meal fight child hunger.
Ryan Reynolds — He teamed up with American Forests to help plant the non-profit organization's 50-millionth tree.
Christina Aguilera — She worked with Verizon to take action against domestic violence.
Christy Turlington — She works with Every Mother Counts to make pregnancy and childbirth safe for mothers everywhere.
Halle Berry — She teamed up with Jenesse Center to help domestic-violence survivors and their children.
Seth MacFarlane — He recently hosted a concert to raise money for Oceana, which is the world's largest international organization for ocean conservation.
Nina Dobrev, Julianne Hough, and Aaron Paul — They created a T-shirt for the holidays with 100% of proceeds going to Kind Campaign, which raises money for free school assemblies.
