Carrie Underwood Talks Life as a Mom, Her CALIA Fitness Clothing Line and More
She's a $70 million megastar, but Carrie Underwood assures “Extra's” Alecia Davis that she's first and foremost a mom at heart.
Alecia caught up with Carrie in Nashville as the “American Idol” winner prepped for her CALIA fitness line photo shoot… without a drop of makeup on.
“You come over to my house, it's a mess,” said Underwood, who earlier this year welcomed son Isaiah with husband Mike Fisher. “I'm scrambling to make dinner, trying get laundry done.”
As far as fame is concerned, Underwood insists that she doesn't read the tabloids and stopped Googling herself a while ago. “I did in the early days, and some of those thing you can't unsee… or unhear. I don't do that anymore.”
Now, she's prepping for her “Storyteller” tour, telling Alecia that she is prepping the bus for little Isaiah, joking that she will have to be especially careful with the trash. “I can just picture him in the trash, 'Isaiah in the trash again,' so we got magnetic locking mechanisms.”
Carrie also showed Alecia her new CALIA clothing line, revealing the workout pants “all have thicker waist bands, no muffin tops allowed.”
Underwood loves squats and lunges, and showed us her workout routine. Check it out!
