Baseball Star Eric Hosmer's Sportcaster Girlfriend Has a 'Bachelorette' Connection
On Tuesday, Eric Hosmer was the hero for the Kansas City Royals, who beat the New York Mets in the first game of the World Series.
He hit the game-winning home run to give the Royals a 5-4 win over the Mets. Eric has been flying high on and off the field — he is currently dating Kacie McDonnell, who is a sportscaster for NBC's KSHB 41.
Earlier this summer, Kacie and Eric made their relationship known on social media and were spotted celebrating together after the Royals beat the Toronto Blue Jays.

Before Kacie dated Eric, she was engaged to former Chiefs quarterback Aaron Murray, who is the younger brother of 'Bachelorette' contestant Josh Murray from Andi Dorfman's season.

Kacie and Aaron called off their engagement in January, only a few months after Josh and Andi ended their own engagement. McDonnell told the Philadelphia Inquirer, "I'm loving my career in Kansas City. I'm really committed to being a part of this community for the time being. The engagement is off. I wish him the best; it's best to part ways. I'm moving on with my life."
