Though Blake went through a surprising split in July, he has been able to pick up the pieces and move on with his life. A close friend of his shared in People's latest issue, "Clearly he was upset during the breakup, but he's not someone to sit around and lick his wounds. He's about moving forward and not looking in the rearview mirror."
Following the split, Shelton has been leaning on his close friends and his "The Voice” family for support. The insider said, "Everyone wants to hang out with him. He's been upbeat and enjoying his time with the coaches. They are a tight-knit group.”
A split can lead to dark times for many, but Blake has been able to turn it into positive energy. His pal explained, "There's been a silver lining for Blake. He has the time to take care of himself and he's taken positive steps in his life to spend time with friends and family."
Blake is comfortable enough to discuss life after his divorce in a recent appearance on CMT's "Top 20 Countdown." He told host Katie Cook, "I'm in a good place and I wasn't, but I am now.”
