J.Lo Dishes on Turning 46, 'Idol,' and Her Las Vegas Residency

J.Lo, who stunned in a high-neck Thierry Mugler blue mini dress and Casadei snakeskin pumps, told us what it was like to turn 46 last month.

“Youthful and timeless at every age, that's what I tell myself in the mirror every day,” she joked.

She added that her b-day was all about the calm before the heavy duty work storm.

"I was just trying to be around friends and loved ones and just relax. I'm working a lot right now kind of juggling ' dol' the [“Shades of Blue”] series and the Vegas show, getting all of that ready.”

Reflecting on the last season of “American Idol,” she said, “It has made such a mark and left such a lasting impression about dreams and opportunities. You see how people want something better and strive to go after their dreams. It's just touched America in a way that I don't think they'll ever forget.”

Jennifer also dished on her upcoming Las Vegas show at Planet Hollywood. “I feel like I've been preparing for this my whole life to really create the quintessential Jennifer Lopez show. Everybody's going to be like, 'You have to go! Go see the J.Lo show you're going to love it.' To be able to go to Vegas and have a residency there for the next three years is something that is a dream come true.”
