‘Saved by the Bell’ Star Lark Voorhies Marries in Secret Las Vegas Wedding
UPDATE: TMZ is reporting that Lark Voorhies' husband Jimmy Green is a wanted man in Tuscon, Arizona for a 2012 incident in which he allegedly threatened to kill a store owner. According to a police report, Green was charged with making criminal threats and disorderly conduct. He failed to appear for a court hearing, and that's why the warrant was issued. The “Saved by the Bell: Wedding in Las Vegas” TV movie turned into reality for one of the stars of the hit teen sitcom.
Lark Voorhies, who played Lisa Turtle and the love of Screech's life on “Saved by the Bell” married her music engineer boyfriend Jimmy Green in Las Vegas, reports TMZ.
The wedding took place in April, but was just confirmed by the actress' rep today, June 12. For their ceremony, the bride reportedly walked down the aisle in a pink floral dress, a matching hat, and sunglasses. Her groom wore a plaid button-down shirt and jeans.
The couple first met on Facebook about a year ago, and held a commitment ceremony on April 1 (no joke) and tied the knot officially in Las Vegas on April 30.
Green told TMZ that the two plan to have a bigger wedding for friends and family later this year.
