Kim Kardashian asked Bruce if he's going to "fully" become a woman, to which he replied, "I see myself in the future that way." When she said he's probably already "made the appointment," Bruce said, "Well, yeah." He then confirmed he would be finished within a year. He didn't say whether his plans included having sex reassignment surgery.
In the riveting special, members of his family expressed their mixed feelings about Bruce's surprise revelation that he's transgender, but also their unwavering support for the man they've known as a husband, dad, stepdad, and role model.
Though Bruce said ex-wife Kris has given him amazing encouragement, Kris said in the special:
"I want him to be happy, but my biggest concern is, are you guys [his kids] okay? It's like, I'm not okay. I don't know how to handle this. This is my life. I committed to this life and I think that he just backed out."
Part two of the special airs Monday at 9 p.m. on E!
