Only five votes separated the pop princess from Lady Gaga, but the Britney Army banded together to give her a third consecutive victory over those "little monsters."
The good kept coming for Spears, who recently learned her “Pieces of Me” was also voted “Best Show of Las Vegas” for 2015, and has grossed over $50 million in ticket sales in a little over a year.
“BEYOND grateful to have such loyal fans,” Britney tweeted. “THANK YOU to everyone who voted! Your support means the world. I am so proud of this show & can't wait to see what the future holds! Xoxo.”
It's been almost two years since the release of Spears' last album, "Britney Jean," but that hasn't slowed her down in the studio, she recently teamed up with rapper Iggy Azalea for a new track.
“It's a true duet,” Iggy Azalea told “Extra” at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. “It's not just me rapping one verse, it's really us together on the song.”
Spears was the one who reached out to Azalea to make the music happen, revealing to “Extra,” “Actually, I saw her song on TV and I was like, I love Iggy, I wanna work with her,” revealed Spears. “After that my manager said, 'You know, she's a huge fan of yours,' so I was like, okay, well let's do something together.”
With her career on a high, and with a new single with rapper Iggy Azalea dropping in May, and new BF Charlie Ebersol, the mom of Sean and Jayden said she's in a really good place, telling People magazine during a recent interview, “I'm very blessed.”
